Fall 2020 Newsletter

September 14, 2020

Pool and Clubhouse Updates: The pool will close on September 24. While the pool will be closed to swimming, residents are able to sit at the pool during our office hours and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts. Thanks to everyone for honoring our mask-wearing requirement, which remains in effect for the clubhouse.

Signage: Political signs are not permitted to be displayed within our Suncrest Village community. If signs are not removed by the owners/tenants, we will remove the signs for you.

Lock Cars: Remember to keep your vehicle doors locked.

Garbage: Furniture and other large items are not to be left in the dumpster area. Condo residents: do not drag garbage through your building and do not leave it outside your door.  Read more here.

Plumbing Issues – Condo Owners/Residents: Leaky sinks and toilets can lead to higher HOA dues, flooding and other water damage. If you detect plumbing issues, please contact our office at 304-598-5815 for assistance.

Pets: Per County Ordinance, all pets must be on a leash when out on the property. Also, you must clean up after your pets. There are plenty of pet receptacles throughout the development for your use. As a pet owner, it is your duty to clean up after your pets.

Database Upgrade – Vehicle Records: We have recently added a new feature to our database for vehicle information. Using this contact form, please provide us with your unit number/address and the following information for your vehicle(s): 1) Year, 2) Make, 3) Model, 4) Color, 5) License plate number, and 6) Issuing state.  Since we were not collecting all of the above-listed information in the past, please take the time to provide your information. This information helps us trouble-shoot who to contact regarding parking, towing, garage painting, etc.  Also, if any of your contact information has changed, please provide that, as well.

Landlords: Please remind your new tenants to register as a community resident at our office and inform them that we need their vehicle information, too.

Homeowner’s Insurance: Homeowners are required to provide the SVHOA office with proof of their homeowner’s insurance. The easiest way to stay in compliance with this requirement is to ask your insurance agent to 1) include the Suncrest Village Townhome/Condo Association (whichever one is applicable to you) as “having an interest” in the policy and to 2) provide our mailing or email address so he/she will automatically send a “Certificate of insurance” or “Declarations Page” whenever the policy changes or renews. There is no cost to include us as an “Additional Interest”.

Parking: When picking up your mail at the Mail Center, please park in an appropriately marked space so others can get in and out safely and without causing congestion. Do not parallel park in front of the mail boxes. And, as a reminder, the parking spaces in front of the condo buildings are to be used only by residents of the condos and their guests.

Web site: Several new pages and information have been added to our web site. Please take a moment to review it and let us know if you have any suggestions for improvements. Thanks!
