  • Congratulations Graduates! The Suncrest Village HOA office team extends heartfelt congratulations to our WVU and high school graduates. You are destined for greatness! Have fun and stay safe.
  • Moving in (or out) at Suncrest Village? All new residents/owners of condos or townhomes must register with our office. And, if you are using a commercial moving truck or company after hours or on the weekend, contact us during regular office hours (9am-6pm Monday-Friday) to make arrangements for special gate access. See #3 on www.suncrestvillage.net/faq.
    • Condos: if you are moving in or out of a condo building with an elevator, please contact our office 2-3 work days in advance so we may pad the elevator to protect the walls. Residents/owners will be held responsible for any damages to the elevators.
  • SCVCA – Condo BOD Meeting: The next BOD meeting for the SCVCA will be held Tuesday, May 17 at 4:30pm. This meeting will be held in the clubhouse and via Zoom. If you would like to attend via Zoom, please send us a request to join the meeting by contacting the office before 5pm on Monday, May 16 and watch for an email inviting you to join the meeting on Tuesday. If you are not receiving our emails, please contact our office.
  • Food Truck Thursday: As of today, our schedule is fairly full with returning and new food truck vendors through mid-July. Check back weekly for updates and menus.

  • Food Truck Thursday – late addition: Welcome back, Carolina BBQ, as they serve favorite BBQ entrees and sides from 4 – 8pm (or while supplies last) today. Today’s menu: ribs, pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, mac n’ cheese, baked beans, potato salad, and cabbage.
  • The Pool is Open!: The 2022 Pool Season has finally launched. Review the rules and reminders here. Enjoy a safe and fun season! Please note that we are not responsible for any items – including, but not limited to, toys and lifesavers left behind at the pool.
  • SCVCA – Condo BOD Meeting: The next BOD meeting for the SCVCA will be held Tuesday, May 17 at 4:30pm. This meeting will be held in the clubhouse and via Zoom. If you would like to attend via Zoom, please send us a request to join the meeting by contacting the office before 5pm on Monday, May 16 and watch for an email inviting you to join the meeting on Tuesday.   • Suncrest Village Townhome Association – Board of Directors (BOD) Meeting: The quarterly BOD meeting for the SVTHA will be held tomorrow (Wednesday, May 11) at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse. Property owners are encouraged to attend and/or may request copies of Board Meeting minutes by contacting our office.
  • Report Suspicious Activity: If you see something/someone suspicious in our community, call 911 and report the incident.  Pictures and video recordings – even from doorbell systems, may be helpful, too. We ask that you also contact our office – day or night at 304-598-5815.
  • Pool Season 2022: Our goals are to open the pool during or before this weekend. Watch for updates. Reminder: to use the pool, you must have a 1) key to get in (and out of) the gate, 2)  pool pass, and 3) a wrist band.  If you are using the pool during our regular hours, Monday-Friday, you may use the clubhouse entrance instead of the pool key.

  • Food Truck Thursday: Young’s Southern Kitchen will return to Suncrest Village today (Thursday, May 5) from 4:30 – 8:00pm.  A few favorites from today’s menu include: grilled jumbo shrimp, jambalaya, grilled or fried catfish, chicken, vegetable medley, rice, and fries. Depending on market availability, there may be some changes to today’s menu, which can be found here

  • 2100 Building – Exterior Painting Project: Due to the forecast, the 2100 building (exterior) painting project will be postponed until Tuesday, May 10. Residents are asked to check back early next week for updates regarding parking restrictions and project schedule. The contractor may be accessing decks (from the outside) to paint the interior deck boards.
  • Clubhouse – flower beds: Please help us maintain an attractive entrance for all residents and visitors at Suncrest Village. Incidents of individuals – children and adults – walking/running in our flower beds at the clubhouse entrance have been reported by several homeowners.
  • Food Truck Thursday: Young’s Southern Kitchen will return to Suncrest Village this Thursday (May 5).  Please check back for details.

  • Trash Can at Mail Center: The trash/garbage can beneath the Mail Center bulletin board is for unwanted mail only! Do not use the can for household garbage or garbage from cleaning out your car. Food and drinks deposited in this can will attract, animals, bees, and bugs. Thank you for your cooperation.
  • Food Truck Thursday: We’ll welcome back Warren Young of “Young’s Southern Kitchen” on Thursday, May 5. Check back for details next Tuesday.
  • 2100 Building – Exterior Painting Project: Weather permitting, the 2100 building (exterior) will be painted on Wed, May 4. Residents are asked to check back on Tuesday for updates regarding parking restrictions and project schedule.   • Compactor – Scheduled Dumpster Transfer for Monday: The dumpster will be removed for its regularly scheduled transfer away from Suncrest Village on Monday (May 2) morning. Please plan to NOT use the compactor on Monday until after noon. As always, no trash may be left on the ground outside the compactor. REMINDER: furniture is NOT allowed in the compactor, anywhere around the Refuse Area, or throughout our community! Violators will be fined. For more information, follow this link. Thank you.

  • Monongalia County Crime Spree – See Something? Report it!: We would like to remind residents that we are not immune from the increase in criminal activity that is occurring throughout the county. Always be vigilant and aware of your surroundings. Keep your home and vehicle doors locked at all times. Don’t leave anything valuable in your vehicles or outside. And, as always, if you see or hear any type of suspicious activity, please call our office – day or night – at 304-598-5815, and call 9-1-1 for police, medical or fire emergencies. Since we are located just outside the city limits, the Monongalia County Sheriff Department responds to emergency calls in our residential community.

April 12, 2022 . . .  News, Updates and Reminders (Updated 2:30pm)

  • Attention Suncrest Village Owners, Residents, and Property Managers: There is a good bit of construction underway around the clubhouse and elsewhere in our community this week.  Due to the fickle weather, project work schedules may change, so check back for updates. Please use caution around our community’s main entrance and around the construction sites.
    • Clubhouse Roof Replacement: The roof replacement project at the clubhouse is underway. Residents in the clubhouse building and in all surrounding buildings will hear noise during the project, which should be done by the end of this week. Use caution when entering/exiting the main clubhouse and fitness center doors and watch for nails while walking and driving around the area. DO NOT park in areas that are roped off.
      • Temporary Parking Restrictions are in place in front of the clubhouse during the roof replacement project. As the workers move their way across the roof, restrictions will be in place around the 1300 and the 2700 buildings. Residents may choose to park in the mail center parking lot. Do not block either garage doors or the space in front of the mail boxes. Again, watch for nails around the area.
    • Dryer Vent Project – 2600 Condo Unit Owners /Residents: The Dryer Vent Project is also underway today and tomorrow (April 13). Parking in front of the 2600 building is restricted between 8am-4pm both days. Residents may park in their designated space in the garage. Alternative parking is available in the spaces in front of the “Rose Garden” across from the 2700 building.

  • Fitness Center Access: If you are planning on using the fitness center while the roofers are on site this week, you may need to use the pool gate (on the 1300 or 2700 building side) and enter the clubhouse building through pool side door. PLEASE make sure the gate is locked after entering. The same key that works the fitness center door unlocks the pool gates. Watch for nails around the clubhouse area.
  • Mail Pick-Up: Residents are to use our back door for picking up packages during the roofing project. If no one is inside the back office area, please ring the bell for service.  Watch for nails around the clubhouse area.

  • Turf Treatment Schedule: Weather permitting, the turf treatment will continue tomorrow (Wednesday, April 6) morning. The areas to be treated include the grass around all condo buildings, the clubhouse, and the mail center. The project, which began this morning, should be completed tomorrow. If the weather prevents the project from being completed tomorrow, it will be rescheduled.  If you see the lawn care vehicles and/or the individuals spraying the treatment, stay off of the grass for at least thirty (30) minutes after being treated. Keep all animals off the freshly sprayed areas! Thank you for your cooperation.
  • Dryer Vent Project – 2600 Condo Unit Owners /Residents: Due to a rainy forecast this week, the Dryer Vent Project will not resume until the week of April 11. Parking in front of the building will be restricted when work resumes. Please check back for updates. Owners will receive an email from the HOA Office when work will resume.   • Attention Residents – Effective Immediately:  Per the USPS, mail carriers will no longer place delivery notification slips in the mailbox when packages are delivered to our office. Residents must be registered with our office to receive their packages and may be asked to show photo ID.

  • No Soliciting: Residents and community visitors: Please be aware that there is  a “No Soliciting Policy” at Suncrest Village. No one is permitted to distribute or post promotional and/or political literature at Suncrest Village. Residents: If you receive any promotional and/or political material on your door, please bring it to our attention. Thanks for your help.
  • Attention Condo Homeowners: No foolin’ . . . today is the deadline for the second quarter HOA dues. You’ll find the amounts due here.  Thanks to our members who have already paid their dues and provided us with a current homeowner’s insurance Declarations! If you are not sure if we have a current homeowner’s insurance policy Declarations on file for your unit, please contact our office. Homeowners who have not provided documentation in the past are subject to a penalty of $100.
